Rope-holders is a ministry to the missionaries supported by NBC. Members are given the opportunity to "Adopt a Missionary" so as to minister to him and his family. Here's how it works: - In some instances participants commit to giving a designated amount of money, above their tithe, to assist the missionary.
- Participants are expected to contact their missionary on a regular basis and to send birthday ,anniversary, etc. cards.
- Participants are required to read correspondence and reports from their missionary and to keep abreast of his needs, concerns, problems, progress, etc.
- Participants are expected to pray daily for the missionary and his family.
- Participants sign a one year "adoption agreement" which states the commitment they are making.
We believe that we have a responsibility to minister to those who minister---encouraging them to continue on in their service for the Lord. This, we believe, is a good way to do that.Pray for us as we "hold the ropes" for those who have committed themselves to the task of fulfilling the Great Commission.
